For me, media center involved in the teaching and learning process. It renders various kinds of services. Its services boil down to improve the teaching learning process by making it more interactive, collaborative, interesting and authentic. It also organizes learning activities for students and teachers alike for them to improve and upgrade on their technology manipulative skills all for the purpose of motivating them to keep on developing their communication, analytical, integrative, creative and collaborative skills for meaningful lifelong learning.

Assessment in a constructivist, technology-supported learning

The traditional paper and pencil test are not adequate to assess learning in a constructivist technology-supported learning. In a technology-supported learning product, they themselves of technology product. Scoring rubrics are therefore, a must in assessment in a technology –supported learning environment, the students are not only users of technology product, and they themselves are authors of technology product. I believe that we assess learning should change, so we also need to rethink the ways that we evaluate learning, asserts.

Using the project-based learning multimedia as a teaching-learning strategy

One of the strategy to enable the student to remember and understand better content as they perform real world task such as researching for answers to problems, analyzing, assessing, making decisions and working with others is the used of project-based learning multimedia. In case your schools are lack of computers and other more recent technological gadgets and students are not familiar with and are not skilled in computer, then make used of a combination of media available it will still be project-based multimedia learning.

PROJECT-BASED LEARNING AND MULTIMEDIA:
WHAT IT IS?

PROJECT-BASED MULTIMEDIA LEARNING is most of all anchored on the core curriculum. The project-based multimedia learning addresses the basic knowledge and skills all students are expected to acquire as laid down in the minimum competences of the education curriculum. It is effective also because the teacher will also face additional assessment challenges because multimedia products by themselves do not represent a full picture of student learning .it’s also value added to your teaching and more powerful motivation and simply employ life skills including decision making

MAXIMIZING THE USE OF THE OVERHEAD PROJECTOR
AND THE CHALKBOARD
Maximizing the use of the overhead projector is good because you can prepared transparencies you can do so much in just only short time. You can save much time when you present your lecture on transparencies instead of writing these notes or drawing naively on the chalkboard. If you have the transparencies and there’s a functioning OHP available, that will be your saving factor and you can proceed with a visual presentation. Its better also to use OHP because by using it, a transparency can show pictures, diagrams and sketches at a time when they are needed in a discussion some more OHP is easy to operate. Chalkboard also is inexpensive and easy to install.

TEACHING WITH VISUAL SYMBOLS

Using visual symbols alone, you have an array of teaching materials to choose from. If you decide and commit yourself to using visual every lesson, you will keep your teaching fresh and effective. You can learn how to draw, sketch, graphs, charts and make diagrams. A visual symbol is very useful also in order for them to be skillful, imaginative, creative and make your learner very busy inside your classroom. It’s very useful also in order for them to understand your lesson well and learn more.

The power of film, video and TV in the classroom

I agree that film, video and TV in the classroom can give more accurate, more lively and more colorful presentation of a difficult topic just like for example one of your student never saw this kind of pictures, images or presentation and never experienced this kind of thing so the use of film, video and TV, she or he can learn and participate now the lesson. I agree also that film, video and TV are powerful instructional tool can make the teaching-learning process more concrete, colorful and interactive that contributes to a more lasting learning because of its visual, audio and motion effects,

Making the most of community resources and field trips

I believe that field trips are useful in teaching because not only learning inside the classroom but also outside the main campus also. In field trips, there are so many opportunities for rich and memorable experiences which are fundamental learning that last. The real world connection is more work and range of application and may lead to changes in attitudes and insights. I can say that is effective instructional tools and it require so much time for preparation and planning.

                      DEMONSTRATION IN TEACHING
Demonstration in teaching is effective because it shows how a thing is done and emphasizing of the salient merits, utility and effeciency of a concept, method and attitude. It tells all the good things about the things you're going to demonstrate. It is one most effective strategy in teaching because you can use any materials, you can elaborate about your topic and teach them well. Students when taught guided and helped can also turn out to be excellent.

                  TEACHING WITH DRAMATIZED EXPERIENCES
Through Dramatized Experiences we can learn certain things quikly through an intense dramatic experience. Most especially role playing the most effective with effective lessons in the affectuvi domain. If our teaching is dramatic, our students get interested, attarted and affected. If they are interested, affected and moved by what we taught we will most likely leave an impact on them. You cannot use Direct or Contrived experiences, you can use dramatic experiences in order for them to enjoy also as what they saw but at the same time can learn.

LB#8

                            Teaching with Contrived Experiences
Contrived Experiencesv is effective also because contrived experiences are "EDITED" copies of reality and are used as substitutes for real things when it is not practical or not  possible to bring or do the real thing in the classroom. designed to stimulate to real life situations. It is nice also to overcome limitation of space and time to understand the inaccessible, to edit the relity for us to be able to focus on the parts and help the learners understand abstraction.

                 Direct Purposeful Experiences and Beyond
Direct Purposeful Experiences is very effective for me because it gives our students opportunities to learn dy doing. Let us make use of real things as instructional materials for as long as we can. for me, this is also the best before you teach them in the class, they can relate your topic because they already experienced that all and they can interact you also. It can Develop the five senses to the fullest and use their firsthand experiences to evaluate their level of thinking.
